I am 100% happy with this tv as it is genuinely excellent !
The only strong disagreement that I have with the reviews of this tv is what is almost always written in the negative section I.e. it is not as bright as an led .
This comment is very likely technically accurate but absolutely misleading and totally meaningless .
The black levels and contrast are much more important ( replaced my 2010 Panasonic TX-P42G20B plasma ) and I got exactly what I expected .
The only advice I would give anyone who is thinking of buying an oled tv is to do exactly what I did .
Wait until the next model comes out and then buy the model before that .
The saving I made by waiting 12 months was £1,900 ( kept watching on the internet until I got a tv that in my case was the same as new - returned within 14 days as per contract - with a 5 year guarantee and £500 cashback ) .
There is absolutely no way at all that I would have an led tv before the oled that I bought .
P.s. Some reviews say that you wouldn’t notice the difference between a 4K recording and an HD recording if you are sitting in my case 3.1metres from the tv .
Absolute total rubbish if you look at the 4K recordings on YouTube that are genuinely pretty close to breathtaking !
Bring on 4K tv as quick as possible and you should be at least 3 metres away from your tv if you decide to go for a 55 inch oled tv .
The quality of picture amazing, the built in sound bar better than expected, great base, the set up is all on screen, it is not the most stable on a stand, hang if you can. Mine is on stand, but I don’t have dogs or small children to knock it. If you buy it you will not be disappointed.
