Securing climbing roses
Plastic plant ties, I used them to secure roses to wires. Can be used in a figure of 8 so the plant doesn't rub on the wires and enables the climbers to be trained horizontally to increase the number of blooms. Simple to use but if training roses wear gloves as those thorns are unforgiving. When secured the excess material can be cut off with scissors leaving a small green tie which will be camouflaged by the leaves. Being plastic they wont rot and the pack contained ample quantity of ties for my purpose. I tried trellis but the wires are so much cleaner and set the blooms off better with no annual maintenance. The only issue with wires is that it can dig into the plant, these ties secure the plant and also stop it rubbing on the wire.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
