We purchased it to cook rice because of the clay pot. We have used it three times as of now, exactly as the instructions that came with it, and find that the rice burns on the bottom. It sticks to the pot so badly that it is very time consuming to clean,and is generally not suitable for us. I would love to purchase a ceramic pot for it, and not have to buy another with a stainless pot. It seems that the Japanese make and use ceramic cookers but we cannot find one sold in USA.
