this is the second one of these that i have had in 18 months.both went the same way started smoking then stoped all together.should not have bought a second one.but i fault i would give it another try.how wroung was i.do what i have now done spend more mony and get a better one

Possibly unlucky
I was intially delighted with the tool for about the first half hour, then the button that is pressed to hold the chuck in place came off, it now keeps coming off and the tool has now become very noisy, i was hoping for better quality with a Clarke tool but to be fair to Clarke i may have just been unlucky with the one i was sent.
