All-in-one solution for singing acoustic guitarists
This is a great all-in-one solution for singing acoustic guitarists. It's a lightweight package, fairly easy to use and set up. In some cases there are options that need to be accessed via sub menus (e.g. EQ settings) but the manual is pretty clear and straightforward. I use it in my church worship band with a line out to a stage monitor and XLR direct outs for separate guitar and vocal feeds to the PA. The 'enhance' function for both guitar and vocals is great, subtly brightening and compressing the sound to lift it and put it more forward in the mix. I haven't found much live use for the harmoniser yet, and the soft and hard voice correct function is a bit strange, I sing in tune so I probably wouldn't use it anyway, but it seems to me to add a strange doubled note to the vocals. The reverbs are great and the chorus effect is the typical great Boss chorus sound. I wouldn't use the looper function live, but it could be a useful addition for some, it works well - but you don't get an 'undo' function and, for me, the footswitch is less positive than the one on my Ditto looper, so punching in on the beat takes some practice. I would really recommend this unit, it's got great sound, it's quiet, it's got loads of I/O functionality and, typically Boss, is built like a tank.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
