  • Great for 3D models!

I always use this product for gluing my 3D prints, it is very strong on plastics and has a long metal nozzle to get into the small gaps making it easy to use! Just ensure you are careful with the application because it will leave a visible mark if you get leakage or accidentally get it on the surface of a model.

  • Excellent adhesive for hobbyists

A little hesitant regarding claims I had seen and heard, but hadn't found that ideal applicator and glue source for the smaller items, doesn't cover every application and materials but covers a fair few, so gave it a go for the price. Brilliant, needle perfect for applying in correct position in those tricky areas, without waste or messy cleaning up to contend with. Couple of small issues;- (1) Ensure needle had been fully fitted once outer cap removed mine came out but no issues replacing and making sure all OK. (2) Clean/wipe needle after use. (3) Store upright or on it's base with needle at angle, don't store on side. Recommended addition to any glue stock

  • Revell Contacta Glue

As a keen modeller I use a number of plastic adhesives for kit construction. Revell contacta glue is easy to use and can accurately be applied by the thin metal applicator. The glue takes a couple of minutes to set but gives a strong bond. Use in a well ventilated area as it does have a strong chemical smell. All being said I think this is a good product but keep a thin piece of wire handy as the applicator occasionally clogs.

  • Superior glue for plastic models

The glue is excellent for getting into tight spots using the needle like nozzle and works very quickly on the specified plastics. Further I found that the glue does not solidify when not being used. One negative point concerning the container more specifically the yellow nut holding the needle assembly in place: this has a left hand thread (which I only found out after trying to loosed it) and when I tried to loosen the nut it burst. I cannot remember why I wished to loosen the needle assembly but please be aware of the left hand thread.

  • Fantastic

Great product, needle tip is precise and accurate, used it on a level 5 model, careful with very small parts too much glue will melt the plastic, not a product issue more a user, will definitely buy again 😂

  • Great model cement with that added tip for detailed work.

I first discovered this product when I purchased a Revell Germany model kit that came with paints and the smaller version of this model cement and I instantly loved it. It gives you precision placement and by having that option protects you from using too much of the cement possibly causing paint damage or even the plastic itself. Also you get a real quick bond so your not spending 10+ minutes holding the pieces together. Only downside is its not as readily available in the US so have to order from other countries.

  • A very good glue for plastic model making

The thin glue works effectively to weld the polystyrene plastic used for model kits The thin tube allows accurate placement of the glue, thus making less mess than traditional tubes. It is essential to keep this tube clean, using a long pin or length of 0.5mm brass rod, because once jammed with dried glue it can only easily be made clean again using heat (from a lighter or a gas hob)

  • Easy to apply

An easy and cleaner way to apply glue to all plastic model kits, with pin point precision. The metal thin spout, allows you to place the adhesive in the area only that requires it, without marking any mess.. I've built Model Kits for many years now and I had always used this product.

  • Strong and precise.

Great glue, starts bonding plastics/resin in seconds and forms a rock solid bond. easy enough to wipe off any excess before it becomes a problem, however. Couldn't ask for more on that part. The needle applicator is bang on for precision. Good bit of kit.

  • Best glue for plastic models that I've used

I'm old enough to remember the older plastic model glues - the little ampoules and also the tubes you had to pierce with a pin and the glue flowed out in great big globules! This Revell Contacta glue and needle application is superb for me.
