Good upgrade from the classic X220
Bought this to replace my X220, the resolution upgrade was the main reason. At 100% scaling, text is a bit small, but completely usable. Keyboard feels good, and the HDD was immediately replaced by a proper SSD. The tablet conversion feature isn't used much and the wacom pen doens't feel as high quality as the rest of the laptop. A stylus from a X220T or X230T feels much better and also works with the display. A wacom stylus from a wacom tablet will not work though. Overall, the laptop is great for moderate Illustrator/Photoshop work and Visual Studio work on the go.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

My First Touch Screen
My employer provides a Yoga for my use at work and I decided to buy one of my own. I use the touch screen when I am lying in bed and the ability to fold the screen as far around as I want is very convenient. I don't use the included stylus at all. My two complaints about this laptop are 1. a very stupid and clumsy touch pad (I use a separate mouse most of the time) and 2. heaps of Lenovo-installed bloatware (taken me a while to get rid of the bulk of it). Otherwise, with the i7 processor and an SSD, it's plenty fast and the 1080p graphics are very good. In all, a very good, lightweight laptop.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Great with WACOM digitizer
It's my first Thinkpad and I started to love it! I chose 500GB SSHD model and I don't regret it. The speed is not overwhelmingly fast as SSD but it's quite faster than traditional HDD and its capacity is way bigger than SSD. It's not that lightweight but compared to my LG 15.6" laptop, this one is like a feather. TrackPoint and WACOM digitizer works well but the digitizer should be calibrated before you start to use it. light, sturdy, and quick
The Yoga 12 (i5-5300U @ 2.30GHz, 8GB, 160GB SSD) is awesome. I was able to use a Yoga S1 for a year, the Y12 is faster and more responsive. The touch screen operates much better. The SSD and case design (magnesium aluminum, I believe) is a life saver (both S1 & Y12) dropped the S1 several times - no problems. Windows 10 is not really functional with the touch screen. Excellent Hybrid
The included Wacom pen is extremely nice and suprisingly good. The Laptop is incredible good for "light-weight" gaming, by this i mean it is very good for CPU intense games rather than graphical. It is a good CPU that runs a CPU intense game like Europa Universalis 4 on generally 20-40 fps on high settings at 1920x1080. I like it and would recommend it as a Student Laptop or a Business laptop. As for personal usage at home like a portable device is up to you... lightweight and perfect for a teaching student
I am currently attending college to be an educator. My big bulky laptop died unexpectedly. I wanted something that was not only a computer, but could also could be a tablet. I went and looked at Microsoft surface ( too tablet like for me) and I looked at other convertible computers. Nothing could beat the flexibility for of this yoga computer.
