Looks to be a quality piece of kit
When we first bought a folding camper I bought an awning light from a local supplier. This was never really a great product and started falling apart almost immediately so this year I decided it was time to replace it. In the last few years this type of lighting has come on in leaps and bounds, with fluorescent tubes steadily giving ground to LEDs. This Kampa light gives the impression of being a nice quality product: the light itself feels solid, it comes with a decent length of cable, can be run both from mains and 12V and has a remote control to boot. The only slight negative is that if you don't have a Kampa awning with its dedicated mounts I can see that getting it to point downwards with the supplied fittings could be a little tricky. I've not used this in earnest yet but I have no doubt it's going to be a big improvement over our old light.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Quality lighting
An excellent lamp for my awning. The awning is the size of a medium tent, and we often end up several of us sitting around talking into the night. The lamp is the right sort of brightness at 40% for this. A higher setting is good for eg cooking by, and the brightest setting I only use for rummaging around in bags etc. Consequently it is very efficient, and greatly extends the time my leisure battery holds enough charge. There is ample lead, and the facility to use a 12v or a 240v supply is good. It is very robust-seeming, and I am not worried about it getting easily damaged in transporting. The included fixings and roll of velcro tape should enable fitting almost anywhere. The remote control is a boon, not a gimmick!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

So bright
