A good bike if you assembly it properly and make the right adjustments .
Out of the box the bike was not properly adjusted, so it was noisier and rougher riding than I thought it should have been. I don't think they make fine adjustment at the factory. I think it's just basic assembly and then box it up. I looked at a couple of YouTube videos about how to properly adjust a chain drive, and align the flywheel. I got out my tools and went to work, it's not that hard if you have any kind of mechanical skill at all. Now it runs smoothly and very quiet, for a chain drive. The quality of the bike is good. Heavy steel frame , solid components and, good cosmetic finish. Nearly all of the negative reviews I have read about this bike could be attributed to poor assembly and bad adjustments; which can also contributes to other mechanical problems over time. Also make sure that everything is properly tightened and lubricated, just as you would do with an out door bike.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Not what I expected
I ordered the Stratum GS II because of the description stating it was a silent belt drive, when I got it assembled I found that it is in fact a chain drive, just like the old one I replaced because of the chain noise. Also the "console" does not do all the functions listed in the manual and the speed seemed much higher than it should so I had to purchase and install a regular bicycle computer. The frame, wheel, saddle, etc is very well made and I will probably eventually like this bike after I get over having another chain drive. High quality belt-driven exercise bike at good value
I purchased two of these bikes for Christmas. They were easy to assemble (about 30 mins for the first and quicker for the second) and we've been using them since. Very sturdy, smooth, and quiet. I can already tell a difference in my aerobic stamina after just two weeks of pedaling at medium high speed. I was excited to get such a great bike for a terrific value with belt-driven system to help my wife and I have a healthier new year and decade. Smooth pedaling and quiet
All in all a very good purchase. The only things I don't like about the bike is the seat is extremely uncomfortable as well the grips on on the handlebars. Go for it.
Easy to assemble- sturdy bike. Great size for home gym. Quiet. Only thing we had to get used to was It’s not freewheel which means that if you take your feet off the pedals they’ll keep spinning- inertia keeps turning the pedals so if you’re not careful you could jam your knees. You can’t have a brain cramp in this regard but you have to get used to it. That being said I love the bike and would do it again in a heartbeat.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
