Easy to use, makes great tasting coffee.
I never thought I'd say this, but the coffee tastes so much better using this, than the same coffee using a cafetiere.
The coffee taste through this Vietnamese Coffee Cup Filter is more intense (like barista), and somehow 'cleaner' than cafetiere.
A bit of planning is required though, as the filter process takes quite a while - sometimes 6 mins (depending on the coffee and how hard you press down the dry grounds).
My process is: boil water, add required milk to a clean cup, microwave milk 15-25secs to warm it too, while milk is warming, add generous standard coffee scoop to the unit, distribute evenly, gently firm down with the insert, take cup out of microwave, put unit over cap and fill to the brim with the now 'a few mins after being boiled' water, wait for it to filter.
When fully drained enjoy your cuppa.
When washing the unit, it is easier to be more thorough than with cafetiere, since there are no meshes to clean and get caught up on.
