  • Four and three-quarters stars, a fine piece of kit.

The intelligent auto setting lets you get good shots straight out of the box, and like Panasonic`s compact cameras, you can ease yourself into using the more advanced features quite easily. Yeah, it`s a chunky beast, and the lens cap has a mind of it`s own, but it starts up quickly, and once it`s fired up, the lens doesn`t move when you zoom so it stays balanced in your hands. Whilst the 4k video footage is beautiful to behold, you have to bear in mind that the image stabilisation doesn`t operate at this resolution, so tripod, steadycam, or steady hands are your choices. Unless you fancy paying a grand more on a Sony RX10IV, it`s a great all-rounder, and my refurbished example is indistinguishable from new.

  • best all-in-one camera with excellent video features

Not very compact, but the best all-in-one camera with excellent video features, for example the excellent in built ND filter system, that no other camera of this type offers.

  • Excellent camera

I've had a few cameras, from compacts to a fairly high-end CSC, and this is definitely one of my favourites. It has as many features as I could ever need from a camera and the picture quality is excellent. It's certainly not what you'd call compact, but if I need a camera to shove in my pocket then I have my phone. If you're new to photography then the auto mode works excellently, but if you want to get more into the settings than you can change pretty much any setting, and it's very easy to customise it to get it exactly the way you want it. Zoom range is excellent and I haven't noticed any drop off in image quality as you extend the range - plus it's great not having to worry about changing lenses all the time.

  • Probably the best Bridge camera you can buy at the moment.

The image quality is good but not up tp the standard of a good Dslr But if you run the raw images through Photoshop one can make them look very nice. The instruction manual supplied with the camera is next to useless, which would make things difficult for a beginner. However, it is a very good camera to have with you when you do not wish to carry A Dslr and a bag full of lenses.

  • Great Little Camera

Great all in one. A good backup for my GH5 and has become my "carry around everywhere" camera. Most of the controls are where they are on the gh5 so it was really easy to get used to it.. Video quality is good enough even to be a B camera when filming with my GH5. Overall very pleased

  • Certainly no lightweight but it delivers on image quality.

Purchased to replace a Lumix GX7 (with 3 lenses) to make life a little easier whilst out and about. Its a big, expensive and heavy camara but it does what it says on the tin. The Lumix interface ia familiar, the jury is still out on whether it beats the interchangeable lenses where image quality in concerned. So far, so good.

  • One of the best bridge camera on the market.

You won't get dslr quality, but you do get everything you need if image quality is not the most important thing for you.
