extremely accurate
I got this is a test I wanted to turn my woodwork lathe into a steel lathe not for anything fancy just for doing odd bits and ends anyway the toolpost is really good quality it's a 4 way to post extremely accurate would recommend to anybody well worth the money Oh I forgot to tell you it did the job well You might be wondering why I've put 4-way well when I was working in engineering the same type of tool post used to set it up before tools in it's easy if you give it a bit of thought when mounting the tool in the tool post don't let the back of the tool go past the end of the toolpost do this all the way round and you will be able to mount 4 toolsVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

Mini lathe top slide tool holder

Sturdy good priced
Haven't used yet but you can tell when a tool is good or not up to the job just by the feel and finish well I can and this feels fab and ideal for what I need iam a hobbyist and will meet my needs but I would say it could be pushed and would perform ok as said you get what you pay for but I think this is a bargain and that doesn't happen often my lathe is homemade apart from a few parts so I thought I would invest in this item and glad I did.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
