Efficient Filter
This is a bit smaller than previous Eheim filters and I miss the lights to tell you approximately when the filter needs cleaned. However, it was relatively easy to set up and the priming button helped the process along. I was really happy with the pipes etc and the throughput is actually pretty good. For the first time I tried Biohome Ultimate for media and would recommend you look at "Pimp my Filter" on You Tube as this will give you a whole new insight re where sponges etc should be placed.

Overall very good filter, however only 1 main pipe supplied as standard and I need 2 (most filters come with 2 pipes). the plastic fittings, intake and spray bar I feel are not the quality I expected but they do the job. The manual primer to fill the filter ready for use just didn't work on mine I had to fill the pipe from a jug but I did get it working and I have to say it works very well, lovely clear water and happy fish. I think Eheim should address the plastic fittings and improve the material as it is a premium product so should have high quality components and supply 2 supply pipes in line with other manufacturers

great product it is a power house had different pumps none come close tank free problems with water eheim pump so easy to clean no mess near tank or water spillage i no it sounds like i am rambling on what i am trying to say is try one your self then you will get it you cannot go wrong.
