Lightweight Laser Keyboard
A great little product, lightweight and will provide a good alternative to the onscreen keyboards offered by mobile devices.
It does take some getting used to as it is easy to break the beam with your hands and papers etc., when not meaning to type.
Whilst the laser is quite bright, it does need to be viewed in shaded areas or you cannot see the KB pattern.
It is a little strange to have the keyboard off to one side as you can't really have it directly in front of your tablet/phone (or you can't see the screen!). If you try to angle the unit to compensate then the keyboard map becomes skewed. I guess the answer to to raise your tablet/phone up above the height of the device however at 50'ish mm high you need a thick book.
It seems reasonably accurate and is able to cope with quite fast typing and the battery time seems adequate.
Haven't yet taken it to a meeting. Keyboard clicks are somewhat disturbing for a quiet envirinment, haven't found out how to turn them off (or down) yet
