Completely new to me.......
Very impressed by this. I haven't bought a model made by this manufacturer before, having mainly stuck to Hot Wheels/Matchbox/Burago/RMZ City & Welly diecasts.
Greenlight are completely new to me, but it seems a surprisingly accurate & fair representation of the motor used in this series. I must also mention that the series "Supernatural" is completely new to me, as my Girlfriend is a big fan of the show. I got her the model before Christmas & she is extremely pleased, being initially surprised at it's small size.
I have bought myself a model as I have a quite extensive set of 60s muscle cars & never seen a '67 Impala made by anyone else. I quite liked the touch with the opening hood/bonnet, but I would strongly recommend that when opening this feature, be very careful with the hinge when doing so.
I wasn't a fan of the car originally & we(me& my lass) had an ongoing friendly argument started about which was better between this & the 67 GT500 Shelby Mustang from "Gone in 60 Seconds"
We agreed to differ as both are equally good cars.
Is this worth the "loot"?
In a word, certainly & I have grown to like the series a bit too.
Buy it if you like
A) Muscle cars from the 60s in 1/64 scale
B) The series itself &
C) TV & Film cars in 1/64 scale.
Nice addition to a collection.
Just be aware that this is approx. 3 inches/7.5cm long & also I would strongly recommend this doesn't end up in the hands of anyone under 10YO, due to sharp edges on the hood/bonnet edge & the possibility the lid may snap off.
One for the older kids......
