Excellent Drone for those looking for a photography platform
DJI product is special and considered the best in the Drone market, and that certainly seems to be the case. Very impressed with the Drone, as it's easy to fly and the photographs I'm getting are great! This is an extremely well designed piece of kit and, I am sure, if you can get it to work it is brilliant. But; Its spec says it should run with Android 4.4.0 and up. Well I have a smartphone and tablet with Android 4.4.2 and I could not Activate it with either device.Using Go4 I was able to update the firmware but when I hit the Activate button it kept saying I had no internet connection. Also, when I read the Ts&Cs of the Activation process it said that once you Activate it with your email address it can't be changed. So what happens if you give away or sell it. It is still stuck with your old email address, where do you go from there? I also found that DJI weren't of much use in answering this problem. I think they are rather like Apple in that they like to have total control over your product. This Activation problem seems to be very common and people have even bought new smartphones and still could not Activate. So I am going to buy an alternative drone without the Activation problems and with easy ability to just fly it.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Super Tech in a package that just works...
The best fun you can have flying and not an airport lounge in sight,,, seriously, this drone is fantastic, early days for me and i need to get more confident but it's just so easy to fly, controller is just a dream, well built, super stable in the hover and so responsive to controller, follow the flying rules and you should have no problems. You cannot have enough batteries, I have three, accessories that are a must, are, landing leg extensions, ND filter kit with CPL, cover guard for the controller stalks and a gimbal lens shield. Don't have a bad word to say about this product. Over 2 months now and not a scratch so easy to fly even as a learner. Going Africa with it next month and can't wait for it. Great drone.. Bad server updates
Great drone with excellent build quality Getting firmware updates is a chore as they often fail to download and update. DJI needs to fix this problem or the "Pro" title is meaningless marketing.
