Quite strong, and not too heavy. The vinyl covering is a little wimpy though.
It's very sturdy and it's nice to have the wheels. You do have to lift it kind of high in order to engage the wheels. When my bar is on the front of the rack, I have to lower it and it will drag on the rubber feet. The vinyl covering on the cushion is really thin and not very strong.
