Not Bad for under $10.00
Having worn prescription eyeglasses most my life, I find these glasses serve me well as a back-up pair. My older Brother, 65 I think, needs Corrected Lenses, but really needs reading glasses. After trying these he was mildly impressed; which is saying a lot for him. I like the fact that you can focus each eye individually. I don't like that they remind me of bifocals and I don't think they would be safe for driving or as a replacement for Prescribed eye wear. Overall, Good for when the screen is a little too far away or to read a map or an article. Seem well made and durable. Worth the price to try.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Not Adjustable for TV Viewing
While the glasses adjust for reading they cannot be adjusted for TV viewing for the person I purchased them for. They may work for some for both reading and TV viewing but definitely not for everyone. They do adjust easily just not enough for viewing the television. This is why I would not recommend it. If someone just needs them for reading you would be able to adjust them according to your reading without the expense of buying reading glasses and they appear to have better adjustment for reading than just buying a set pair of over the counter reading glasses because of the fine tuning available between the two sides of the glasses. If they had worked for both TV and reading I would have given them a better review. It was nice that they came with a case for keeping them safe but they still didn't live up to the expectation of being able to use them for reading and viewing television.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Low magnification
The glasses do work, and only enough to increase the magnification power to (as far as I can tell from use, not scientific measurements) only about 1.5 or 2.0. Many people with eyes requiring different levels of magnification also require higher magnification powers than these glasses produce. All it is is plastic in front of plastic, with a little rolling adjustment rod to "scoot" each lens away from each other. At best, a tiny effect. Good money wasted
My experience with these glass is NOT good and is as follows: 1] These glasses gather and display a lot of the ambient light into the lenses. This produces reflective bright spots visible in the lenses [especially when watching TV in the day time]. 2] When using these glasses outside the focused field of view is very small. 3] I would never buy another pair of these glasses ... Cheaply made, but they work.
Bought two pair of these, one for watching TV and one for reading. They're very cheaply made, and will likely break and scratch easily if you're not very careful, but they do the job for both tasks. Field of vision is pretty narrow, so you wouldn't want to try using these to drive (they advise against that anyway). Also, glare is a bit of a problem when watching TV, especially at night, but you kind of get used to it. All in all, a good value for the price. Instant 20/20 glasses
Actually, I think these are pretty good. At times if looking at a light source you do see some glare around the edge of the two layers of lenses but I compared them to my prescription glasses which I got last week and I adjusted my vision to match really well. I also like the fact they can be adjusted to readers. Apparently they are not good if you have an astigmatism but I don't have one so for me they are great overall as a pair of back up glasses. Light as a feather so they are comfortable. I know they are not recommended for driving but I will keep them in my car anyway in a pinch. I think the glare issue might be a bit annoying when driving but overall pretty darn good and a lot cheaper than prescription glasses.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

I love my glasses
There is not a checkbox for this choice, but the quality is so-so. However I got a fantastic deal on this purchase. I had never been happier. I have suffered a stroke a little while back and it has affected my vision in an awkward way. I bought these glasses to see if I could help make my vision a little more even. I was amazed it tremendously worked. I have several pairs of prescription glasses that I had pad several hundreds of dollars for. But for me these work great because I can adjust the lenses as needed and get crystal or near crystal clear vision. I also suffer from diabetes. Not great

Use with or without the glasses you already have. I dialed right in, I can see again! Doesn't correct for astigmatism but that's not so much of a concern. I let my mother try them and she had no problem dialing in, either. Then I wore what she dialed in and I couldn't see a thing! But within 30 seconds I had it set back to my vision. Finally can see
I have used these glasses now for over 3 years and I luv them , I can finally see and read so much better . They are the best . My Dr said I have cataracts and need surgery , now after wearing these I don't need any surgery so I thank u guys for having just what I needed .
