Just like new
I bought this phone to replace exactly the same model which had developed various faults and was no longer serviceable. I was a bit unsure at first as it was listed as factory refurbished and cheaper than several others listed as new. However, in every way, it was just like brand new, with the factory stickers still on the display and absolutely no marks or scratches on the display or the case. It came with original charger, still wrapped in cellophane and a new screen protector. The phone worked as well as the original when new and battery life seems fine. All in all, I can find no fault with it as it is essentially a brand new replacement for my old phone at a really good price. I don’t need a state of the art new one as this one is pocket sized, has 4g and the operating system still runs all of the current apps I need.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Refurbished

Issues
I had one of the earlier generation xperia compacts, it was an excellent phone, which is why I bought this one. Unfortunately, this model seems to have a few common faults. The headphone socket does not work and the screen go's black when you make a call (making it nearly impossible to end the call unless the other person hangs up). lovely little phone
It seems to be that the fashion these days is for the phone to be as large as possible. Having small hand and even smaller pockets I needed a petite phone. I am a great lover of the Sony brand of mobile phone and this one does not disappoint. Compact but stylish, beautiful lines and excellent contrast. 20 mp camera and the battery lasts...... which is more that I can say for my old samsung. Great phone - good price
Bought this to replace my dying Galaxy S4 mini. Didnt want a massive phone like most new ones. The Z3 compact is just the right size, very slightly bigger than the s4 mini. The screen is great and the speaker works fine. It is a bit slippery though especially if you have dry hands like me so will definitely get a rubber cover. The phone is extremely responsive and very fast in running apps etc. and the battery life....ooohhhhh the battery life! So far its been amazing. With light/medium use I get about 2 days life with a 100% charge! TWO DAYS! :) It supports up to 128GB of SD card so there is shed loads of room for music/videos/files. It mounts no problem on my mac and my pc and can easily transfer files. The samsung I had could not mount on my pc or mac for some reason..... To me the only downsides with this phone is that its very slippery, and the LED flashlight is not very bright. Really pleased with refurbished phone, can't tell difference!!
"Good things come in small packages..!" Bought a refurbished sony xperia compact (same model as my own) for hubby, 1 week in going well, all the reasons i was nervous about refurbished seem absolutely fine, ie would battery life be as good (it is), would there be old data on phone (there isnt), would it be all scratched up etc (its like new) im really pleased. So is budget-conscious hubby, who is finally dragged into 21st century with a neat little smartphone with great camera, easy set up, good sized screen on "compact" model and great price as refurbished. Great phone with fantastic battery life and excellent camera.
I wanted a similar size phone to my old nokia windows 8.2 phone but with a better camera, but there was not a lot of choice ...they were mostly very large and heavy! A friend suggested the Sony Z3 Compact and I was immediately impressed....it looked a quality product and was just what I was looking for .I purchased a gel case and a tempered glass screen at the same time, as the phone felt a bit slippy when I first handled it and was afraid of dropping it.The gel case made a huge improvement and thoughts of dropping it has not been a problem since. Lightweight, compact with great battery. Not good camera
Very good product, compact, quite fast and with very good battery! It last at least 2 days! The only negative is the camera quality. Even though it's 20 Mpixels the result is very poor.
