Compact air band radio.
The radio is simple to use, however setting it up was difficult. The supplied antenna hardly picked up anything, but this was cured by buying a telescopic one. This really brings in the air traffic stations clearly. Overall, this product scores 8/10, could do better. Great little radio
I've been using air band radios for years and have found this one very easy to use. uniden ez133xlt
i have had a few scanners so i am well used to them my ubc3500 xlt has got the dreaded rattling sound video on you tube i live 3 miles from leeds bradford airport and as i am not very mobile these days dont get up there anymore my main scanner is a bct15x so i just wanted a cheep scanner to use in my garden the ez133xlt fits the bill the audio is very good for such a small radio its easy to use and i do like the instant channels 123 buttons i would recommend this scanner to a beginner but can only give 4 stars as it has only 20 channels on airband apart from that overall a very nice little scannerVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great little scanner. Controls are easy to use after familiarisation of the instruction manual. Great clear sound. I would recommend a better Aerial for better reception. Good value for the money
Easy to use entry level radio scanner, I have had a Bearcat scanner before, the only prob I have with it, is that it doesn't have is an external power socket for vehicle use with a step down lead to 4.5 volt...but having said that, the lasting battery power is very good. This is an entry level, so add your own researched aerial for better coverage, this advice is for "any" radio system in any case.
