Does What It Says
We got this for our puppy in case she got out of our garden. She doesn't always respond to her name being called and as we live in a rural village so she could soon disappear into nearby woodland. The tracker was fairly easy to set up once I accessed the instructions on the website; those included with the tracker were confusing and of no use whatsoever! The tracker is fairly large for our puppy but it weighs next to nothing and she doesn't mind it at all. Once set up you use the app on your phone or ipad to see where the tracker (and dog) is. There is a SIm card in the tracker supplied by Giffgaff and this has to be topped up occasionally but that is the only ongoing cost.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Had my reservations about this tracker. But I'm pleased to say it works a treat. Bought a virgin payg sim , Popped it in the back and fired it up. Put the tracker number in my contacts , Rung it and a few seconds later a txt come back. Click on the link to google maps, And I couldn't believe how accurate it was.... Spot on :) Came nicely boxed with the car charger inside if required. Iv had it on for 3 days now, And still the internal battery is fine. Good cost effective device with no monthly subscription charges. Bit fiddly to set up until you get your head around it but not that bad. Download manual from website makes it easier. Can 'live' track or get google map sent. Accurate to approx 5 metres. Can even switch to a mode where you can hear people talking up to 15m away. A very easy way to use the unit....
Don't bother reading the manual. First used a EE SIM card. You do next need to text the unit to find its location just RING the unit. You will receive a text back click on the link and Google maps will show you the location. SimpleVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

Streetwize GPS tracker
Relatively easy to set up once you know that the instructions aren't totally correct. One on line chat with the Streetwise help desk sorted the problem. (Where the instructions show an under score you just leave a space). Nice and small size so can be tucked away easily. It can be charged via standard mini USB but also comes with 12volt charger that can be connected to a vehicle battery for a more permanent installation. The mobile app seems to work well and can be used on several trackers by logging in and out of each one. A robust and easy to use pet tracker
We have two very boisterous labradors, one of whom can be easily be distracted by any rustle in a hedge and rapidly disappear from sight and not always find her way back when she gets bored twenty minutes later. Over a year ago we bought a Squanto and it has proved to be worth its weight in gold in providing reassurance about when she has got to and helping guide us to recover her. When that Squanto finally failed (after a very rough life, including being in the mouth of the other labrador when the two were playing together and rushing around) I instantly ordered a replacement Squanto. Unfortunately, this one had an initial problem but it was rapidly replaced by the maker and we once more have Betty safely connected to my phone (via the odd satellite or two). Brilliant product, can't recommend this tracker enough to keep peace of mind knowing your dog can be found if lost. I've just tested it with my spaniel and it pin pointed his exact location. It's not the cheapest tracker on the market but can you put a price on the welfare of your pet.... nope! Small price for peace of mind.
Small device, easy to setup. With the app on my phone I can trace where the tracker is at any time. The tracker came with a phone sim card that is from “1p mobile” this you have to credit with £30 for it to work, although I think you can use sim cards from other providers.
