This is a Nikon zoom lens in very good condition for a used item. There are no noticeable scratches or dents on the exterior, or deterioration of the rubber parts, and although there is a slight amount of dust on the lens, there is no clouding or mold to be found.

Best lens on a budget
I'm a semi professional photographer and needed a DX lens for my back up camera. The pros of the lens are 1. Pin sharp focus across the frame at all focal lengths. 2. Auto focus is smooth and quiet. 3. VR on a lens this size is a bonus. 4. Lens lock button. Some reviews have seen this as a niggle. I personally like this feature on all zoom lenses. Niggle points. 1. The zoom ring on my lens feels a little stuff but still moves relatively smoothly. 2. The barreling is plastic. Good quality general purpose lens
Neat, compact and very sharp lens. The vibration reduction system is very effective and allows an average of 2 stops of slower shutter speed while hand held without tripod. I shoot only in available light and the images are very sharp. Needs a plain or uv filter for dust protection but these are very cheap. Focussing is very rapid. One of Nikon’s best lenses for sharpness, contrast, focus accuracy etc. Buy one. Look at the price. This lens is an absolute babe. Check out Ken Rockwell’s review. Excellent condition, works perfectly. My old one wasn't functioning properly, the images were blurred so I decided to buy a new one, just the same. I was afraid a bit that I won't be satisfied with the quality but luckily everything works like new.
