Excellent instructions and patterns included
This book is perfect for a beginner or intermediate sewer with excellent quality paper patterns and easy to follow instructions without the jargon of a traditional sewing pattern. You will need to trace the patterns from the master copies as they are printed on both sides, you would do this anyway if you wanted a made to measure fit. I use a role of Swedish tracing paper for all my patterns but you can use grease proof paper just as effectively. It is great value for money if you take into account that the paper patterns alone are worth £12-£15 each. There are YouTube tutorials for most Tilly and The Buttons patterns which I find very useful. I haven't started sewing from this book yet but I will ( as soon as I will have new sewing machine) . Its well made, pictures and instructions are clear, projects are not difficult to do, but smart.
