Excellent alternative
If a floor standing punching bag stand is your best option this is what you want. Great overall everything. Versitile, strong and height adjustible. Using it to hang a 100lb heavy bag. It has stabilizer pins for a reason, it needs barbell weights to keep it from rocking. So hopefully you have some plates to keep the entire stand from rocking. I didn't have any so I'm using 2 40lb bags of water softener salt on each side, it works. Seller has a best offer option but does not accept any?
