Gottman’s book is a starter, Raising emotionally intelligent children. This is brilliant too!
This book makes a parent aware of having a relationship with their children. Some of the statements were accurate, in terms of the youngsters that turn to their peers for the support they do not get from their parents.
must read for parents who care how they raise their kids
..not only for parents-for everyone who works with children too. Easy to read, not overloaded with scientific terms and worth every penny paid. It explains how our society is driving our children to become peer orientated and how parents loose their authority without realising it and how to prevent/stop it.
