If you're looking at this, you probably know who Allan Holdsworth is, and you know how his music, playing and person is respected throughout the (guitar) music world, including by the likes of Eddie Van Halen, Joe Satriani, Fredrik Thordendal, Tosin Abasi, Shawn Lane, John Petrucci and countless others. I was looking at this booklet for some time now, as I was introduced to its existence because of the REH video of Allan giving an overview of his theory behind his playing style. The video is of course a necessary part of all this, but nevertheless this booklet definitely makes it easier to get into his stuff. I was first trying to get all the tabs and charts simply by copying it from the video, then from pdf. In the end I decided that this material is worth more, and as a sort of a contribution, I decided to buy this on paperback. I am definitely not disappointed. The paperback is printed well, the material well laid out and it's simply nicer to get into the material if you have a real, original "textbook" and not a printout from the internet or something. Whoever is interested in Allan's music, this material is definitely a must have, so why not have it on a paperback such as this, the way it was supposed to be read. And indeed this practice material will have you covered for years to come.
