  • A good knitter's guide to designing basic sweaters

I was looking for a book which would walk me through the basics of designing a sweater and this book did not disappoint. It basically assists you to design and knit a sweater of your choice. Once you have understood the simple maths needed to create a sweater you are good to go with more complex designs. I appreciated her simple conversational like approach to demystifying what could be a daunting task. I felt that this book has given me the confidence to design my own sweaters. It covers taking measurements, designing a sweater with all the calculations, necklines, and designing a cardigan. This book is a good introduction to designing your own knitwear and well worth the investment. it was a book that I could understand easily.
