Worthy of a Feature Film
I don't have Netflix, we love historical dramas and engaging plots. Purchasing this DVD of The Crown was a wonderful thing during Lockdown. We watched series one twice and are ready for our second Binge Watch of Series two. The costumes and quality of the filming are suitable for a Feature Film at the cinema, and this should have been made for the large screen. Music is lovely too. A humdinger! Wonderful acting and well written.
Those who don't have Netflix have had to wait ages for this DVD to be released. It's certainly worth the wait. It arrived quickly, was exactly as the blurb stated, in mint condition. I am not a royalist but this drama is compelling and one of the best box sets for some time.

A great drama
We’d heard a lot of good things about this series but we don’t have Netflix. Having picked up the first series for 50p in a charity shop and watched it, we felt the second series was well worth paying more for. We haven’t been disappointed. We highly recommend it.

Very well made, big budget and totally fascinating retelling of the royal family over the 1950's and 60's. Tends to focus on the lesser known aspects in great detail so you will probably learn something.

The Crown is brilliant
I bought the first series, not feeling sure my husband would be keen. We devoured it! Then, of course, I bought Series 2. We enjoyed it so much, and now can't wait to be able to buy the next series at the end of the year. We were totally absorbed by the characters, so convincing. I almost like them more than their real counterparts!

Completely Hooked.
