A really great enjoyable film and very romantic
The zombies in the title put me off a little but actually the film was great fun .The Pride and Prejudice story was there and was the most romantic of all the versions I have seen .The actors were really good in their roles .Lily James as the warrior Elizabeth was perfect and Sam Riley as Mr Darcy was gorgeous with the long leather coat . Fun film - highly recommended!
If you know the original Pride and Prejudice story you'll find the references to it in this very amusing. The put-down scene where (spoiler alert!) Elizabeth rejects Darcy's original proposal was done brilliantly. And I love the way the sisters pass the time by polishing their weapons and checking their rifles as opposed to embroidering and reading. Zombie films don't appeal to me but luckily this isn't especially gory and I enjoyed this one!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
