NotesTHE BEETHOVEN BOX is a re-issue of Brendel's analogue recordings of the BEETHOVEN SONATAS (recorded 1970-77) along with his first cycle of BEETHOVEN CONCERTOS (recorded with the London Philharmonic and Bernard Haitink 1976-77) on 12 CDs.
I prefer Classical Music. After seeing "Immortal Beloved", a story about Beethoven, I saw this CD collection of Beethoven piano works, so I bought it. That was about 10 years ago. I found this set on e-bay, and bought it for a friend. She loves it, especially Sonata no 14 - "Moonlight". There are other pianists that have recorded Beethoven, this one may not be the best, but it is too at least two of us.
