DJI Mini 2 is probably the Best Bang for the Buck Drone
Straight out of the box, you have everything you need to fly. Owning a DJI Spark, I didn't need to learn much when it came to flying the DJI mini 2. However, the Mini 2 does use a slightly different app than the Spark. But overall, The drone flies effortlessly under calm conditions. Even with a little wind, The mini 2 seemed quite stable. I wish the Mini 2 had more LED lights flashing on the underside to make it more visible in the air. The three speed settings are very noticeable and can really help in getting that cinematic shot you're looking for. Like most drones and their software, take the time to watch some videos on YouTube and read articles online that give you insight on how to adjust app settings like, aperture, brightness, etc. It's quite amazing seeing the quality of footage that you can obtain from this relative low price-point drone. If you need more accessories, then spend a bit more for the more expensive bundles. I bought a propeller holder strap since the basic bundle didn't have one. I feel that was so important to prevent your propellers from flapping around while folded up and stored. Flight time is not bad averaging about 20 -30 minutes depending on how you are flying the drone and if the wind is strong. The three axis gimbal is a great feature. the video stability is quite great for such a tiny lightweight drone. DJI Mini 2
This is my second drone and I love it. The first was a much lesser machine to learn with. I am physically handicapped in several ways but this DJI Mini 2 is easy enough to use that I’m finding great joy in flying it. This Mini 2 is capable of so much more than I will ever use it for which is to view and enjoy my property in the mountains since I can’t hike it any more. So much advanced technology and great features in a small package. Bought the Fly More combo. One of the best decisions that I’ve made a long time. Looking for a drone? I highly recommend this one. Went ahead and registered this with the FAA because I want to add a few things to it to enhance my use of the Mini 2 and these additions will take it above the 250 gram limit. Quickly becoming my favorite drone
This is a refurbished drone but came in original packaging. Everything inside looks brand new! I have flown the drone several times and have to say that it is a LOT of fun! I own a Mavic 2 Pro and a Phantom 4 Pro V2.0, but wanted something smaller and easy to get into the air to be able to check out areas that I plan to fly for business without using up my production batteries. This drone is perfect for that and is just as reliable as my other two DJI drones. Besides that, it is a lot of fun to fly. It's very easy to set up and take off. Less than two minutes and I'm in the air. The pictures are good and the video is great. I like being able to zoom 4x on the pics and 2x on the 4K video. It is a great little drone and I am very happy with the quality and value of the refurbished status. Massive Step up from Previous DJI series
I started off years ago with the Phantom 3 advanced. The price was right at 1K here on ebay, with one battery. This kit includes 3 batteries giving an overall flight time of about an hour and a half. It has the same top speed as the Phantom 3 A. Weighing in 2.5 pounds less it requires no registration. The video is excellent in 4k resolution which you can crop or downscale anytime you want. The same for the color rendition. With the exception of speed this uav even out performs the Phantom 4 series except the pro. The ability to charge the batteries through a usb c connection, the same as on most current phones, is definitely a plus. You can charge on the go in your car easily. An excellent value for full features and no FAA registration (as of now) at half the price of the original popular Phantom series. AND it all fits in a case the size of an average purse. Helluva Drone
This is another DJI box of awesomeness. It’s easy to fly. Easy to learn. Has great battery life, around 30-35 per battery. Incredible gimbal camera. Amazing drone at an awesome price.
OK..it is REFURBISHED. I just could not pass up the price. Saved hundreds over buying new, Always wanted a drone.....the ultimate game. I love photography. So it was a no brainer to give it a try. Am I glad I did. The package arrived quickly (2 days) and when I opened it up, it looked brand new. Everything was there. No scuffs or any other marks. First flight was my first flying a drone. I took to it like a duck to water. Just amazing how well this thing flies. Bought 4 more batteries and the 4 position battery recharger. Highly recommended. I fly now every day I can. Even in pretty windy days, this thing is very stable. Everything is as it was designed to do....not one problem. Ok...there was one problem.....an eagle tried to attack my drone. I was up about 100 feet and a bald eagle took after it. Put it into sport mode and brought it back alive. That was a close one. The Mini 2 is one awesome drone. I hear a Mini 3 is coming. I will be buying that also.....can't have enough drones! Also looking at the Refurbished Air 2. That price is just too good to pass on. I highly recommend this drone. I like it, fun for an 84 year old man. Easy to fly.
It is fun and easy to learn to fly thanks to a video on the internet. How to fly a dji mini 2 drone for a beginner. I am still learning all the features concerning the camera and making pictures and videos. It came as if it were new not refurbished. Great first-timer drone or experienced flyer drone #2 or #3!
Its a fun easy to fly drone. Takes a try or two to figure out how to open it up and set-up and then store it but once you do its easy. long battery life and a great drone for your first one! Wouldnt get anything less than this tho. Best little drone.
I am not a good review Wrighter but i can tell you this i have flown many different Drons. and have owned a lot of the off-brand Drons. i have always liked DJI but the price has been the reason i never owned one. Till now. The mini-2 is by far the best little Dron for the price. So, get one they are worth the cost. The MINI-3 is out but the cost is almost double that of the 2 but the 3 has a lot more stuff it does. But you have to ask yourself is all that extra stuff worth the extra cost. You decide.
