It was a windy raining morning,I received and charged the head torch yesterday ready for its first test run today. I'm impressed, the 20000 lumens certainly pierces the darkness with awesome power. The red light on the battery pack is a superb feature,again small but powerful.All the modes are great, but the 2XPE LED or spotlight wowed me the most,lighting buildings 1/2 mile away,reflecting road signs 3/4 mile away! Illuminated pier bandstand 1/2 mile away, even a fox didn't escape my beams.Over all a versatile,powerful head torch, fitted over hat ok, not sure about plastic head piece on skin, might rub,,rubber cover for battery compartment, which was dry when I checked,I can't fault a well built,nicely weighted,push button operated head torch.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

A very bright torch which fits snugly on your head with two adjustable straps. It has five LED lights which can be used with 6 different settings and the beam can be tilted up and down. Glad it has replaceable batteries and not a throw away unit , be aware it’s very bright , not something you would give to kids to play with , as could see problems with shining beams at passing drivers . Not lightweight , so wouldn’t want to wear it for hours but fine for half hour or so . Made by Goodyear so you know it's going to be good
Great quality head torch that might not be the cheapest around but with the Goodyear name you know it's going to be good. It is a bit heavy when you first put it on but you soon get used to it and the head strap makes it nice and secure as well as comfy. You can toggle through the various settings for the head torch with different brightness intensities and also there is a little red light on the rear battery pack that shows where you are from behind that can be turned on / off and also flashes. The battery pack has two rechargable batteries (supplied) and seems to last a long time between charges.
