complicated and not for beginners
this is a good product, but it is running on beta software at the moment and it didn't work with my sim card out of the box, So at the moment its really not a good idea if you want to just plug in your 4g sim and get going. In 6 month maybe on alpha firmware. For geeks and network specialists requiring a fast 4g connection with every bell an whistle you could shake a stick at, ospf,bgp, vlans, trunking, etc etc it's by far the most feature rich unit and a reasonable price there is. My speeds are dictated by three network speeds not the link to the tower but at least with this unit I know which tower,cell,radio etc I'm using and I know its doing 3g lte-a with a primary and a ca channel. RSSI is much better with the same antenna but snr is about the same so a pinch of salt. Its cat12 with 4x4 mimo with 2x2 out the two rear externals. Rarely do I find something that ticks all my boxes, but this thing ticked all mine and then handed me all these other boxes to play with in the future. Quick setup mode works but be aware, quick setup more makes a normal 4g router look like an empty toilet roll tube.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

It looses the 4G connection and needs constant rebooting.
Not so good after all. I've setup other versions of MikroTik access points and routers before and quite like them, but this model was trouble from day one. I've setup a task to reboot the router every-night but still does not help as a power cycle is needed every few days.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Powerful and infinitely configurable.
