INK UNLIMITED (we hope)
Since using the Epson DX7450 over the last 10+ years which still looks and works like new, having run on genuine Epson ink throughout its life, I felt the need to upgrade to a wireless more economical printer. Looking at the products and their reviews I deduced the Epson ET2720 series to meet the requirements and still produce first class quality prints, opting for the off-white variant ET-2726. It was easy to link to the wi-fi, laptop and phones, though it did take more than minutes. Tank top-up is easy and the print quality is excellent, particularly for photographs. What a relief not having to spend £40 or so every few months for ink. It is understood that Tank Printers can clog if not used regularly, but not certain that is with original manufacturers ink or not. It will be in regular use so that problem is not anticipated here. So far I would recommend it, but time will tell. Hitherto the outlay seems worthwhile.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Very expensive for a mediocre printer
The ink tank idea is very good and will save money over time, this is the only stand out feature of this printer. As for the build quality this is the most flimsy built printer I’ve ever owned, Epson have cut corners on everything , the front lcd screen is the smallest I’ve ever seen on a printer and no sad card reader, this printer is only capable of single side printing I would’ve expected double sided printing at this price point,, and the print quality is only average. Good reliable printer, don’t expect great print quality
Good printer for price. Reliable printing due to the ink tanks however the quality of printing is not great - good for casual printing. Fab little printer :)
I spent a long time looking for a printer that ticked all of the boxes. I'm a home educator so I like to print out a lot of workbooks with coloured pages, and so I needed a printer that wouldn't cost the earth when it came to refilling ink. I compared this model to the HP Smart Tank which was offered at a similar price and found that the Epson had the edge in print quality and cost of refills. Having had an Epson XP-312 for a number of years I was already familiar with the button layout and screen, so this wasn't an issue for me as they were near identical. Setting up was simple enough, follow the instructions given in the leaflet in the box and then go to the website address given on the leaflet rather than using the included CD for the drivers (Win 10) As with my previous Epson printer, I can email directly from multiple devices which is convenient and quick. I've not used the printer to print photos yet so can't comment on quality there but as for printing reams and reams of pages in mono and colour I'm impressed with the results so far. I've read other reviews that were negative about build quality - I don't think there is an issue. All print trays are a little delicate, however I don't intend to stand on it or throw it around so I'm not concerned - it's at least as good in construction as my old Epson. Buyer be aware - this printer is wifi only, there is no lead included to connect directly to your PC in case this is important to your decision.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Excellent Printer With Easy To Refill Ink Tanks
Refilling the tanks was easier than expected, and not at all messy. Print quality is good, and the paper regulator is simple to set. I found this printer to be slightly louder than my previous one, but it's not too much of a problem. Greater than Expectations
This printer was nowhere near as cheap as a direct replacement for my 13year old one but the large ink tanks made me qurious and it was still inexpensive. What I had overlooked was the massively faster printing. Speeds expressed in sheets per minute can be more impressive when experienced. It is located where the old printer was but the wifi is more reliable. In short, I got more for my money than I was expecting. When sitting on a desk the old and the new printers look very similar but in use the new one is more Ferrari than Ford Fiesta.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
