This coffee maker excels!
This thing is the bomb!! My wife loves her single K-cup coffee in the morning but it never seems to get hot enough. This solves that problem by allowing her to brew as little as 6 cups (really, just 3 mugs of coffee) and it is piping hot! It stays hot given the insulated carafe, so she can always top up her cup with hot brew. AND, it does have the ability to do single cups when you just want one to go. They need to adjust the design!
Carafe does keep coffee warm for a short time, the worst part so far is getting the coffee pot in n out, it gets hooked up on the coffee filter n pulls it out a bit, n the carafe is supposed to not be able to pour if top is turned to close, but it pours out all around lid!
