Smart wee machine. Light, long cord for my stair. Was a little confused by the filter at first. Thought it was a dust collection bag. It is powerful.
2 cats. No hair now on my carpet. Don't know yet if you get bags for it. Tubes need tightly pushed together as they are so light they are bit wobbly. Does the job
nice an powerful, perfect for my workshop. The filter is a pain to clean if covered in plaster dust. Having a plastic body does make the outside prone to static charge which attracts dust and looks bad, I don't think that would be an issue for a household hoover. what a new Dyson wouldn't do for me...
I bought this as soon as I found that the new Dyson I bought as a replacement for an old model cannot be used for DIY. Dyson seems to have moved towards filterless designs to my great disappointment since previously they often employed a carbon-filled filter that did an awesome job at removing fine particles. Well, because my new Dyson does not remove sawdust or plaster dust, this cheap but reliable VonHaus vacuum is the right tool for DIY tasks. It's advantage is in the simplicity of construction. Suction is not the best but on the other hand the filter does not get blocked and there is no loss of suction even with full dust bin.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Very easy to empty
Works well for water & dry dust (but not at the same time). The principle is simple. Water or dust goes in and you empty it. It makes me wonder why other vacuum cleaners have to have bags. Bags cause complications & must be replaced - and they're expensive. This one has minimal maintenance. You can see everything inside. It can take a while to align it perfectly to close it, & if not done correctly it won't work as it cannot create the suction. Brilliant Wet & Dry Vacuum Cleaner
I bought this for a friend who had been really happy with it but tried it out for the first time myself this weekend while helping with DIY. It is a very powerful vacuum with a good suction. The main good points from my perspective are: i) It stores the cable easily when not in use; most others don't have cable storage ii) it is easy to take the top off when emptying the vacuum with nice positive catches at either side; not fiddly like many others iii) the innovative reusable dry filter design makes it very easy to use. The filter removes easily and can be shaken, gently brushed and occasionally washed before being put back into the vacuum. The only slight criticism is that the head of the brush tool rotates around too easily but it isn't difficult to hold it in position. Overall a very good purchase.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
