Lightweight and easy to use.
I am so glad I bought this steamer. Its super easy to use just pop your veg in add the water and turn the timer on. its a very lightweight item which is great for me as i have chronic pain . very easy to clean just a rinse under a hot tap. the veg come out perfectly no soggy broccoli , carrots taste amazing and potatoes cook beautifully. the reservoir where you pour your boiling water to initiate the steaming process also then can be used in gravy or into the stew so no wastage of vitamins. Havent tried rice or meat yet but I dont see there being any problems as long as you check the timings in the booklet that comes with.I would recommend this !00% .Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Assembly puzzle
I got this for my mam who is 87, there are too many separate items with no clear way of knowing how to assemble the compartments. You have to remember what you have, here. The plastic containers are thin, transparent plastic and quite obviously, if mishandled, they are going to break, scratch, fracture, etc. Having said that, the whole thing is very light and easy to move around, so good for people who can't deal with heavy pots. You do need to wear a pair of oven mitts to handle them when they're hot. Frozen items take twice the time to cook - i.e. frozen veg. However, it does cook things much more nicely than traditional boiling in a pan. Better taste. I like it. Its a nice tool, doesn't take much space, is easy to clean.
