Perfect for cutting strips of new window gasket. Lovely sharp angled cut each time and much easier than trying to make do with scissors or a cutting knife, as the greased gasket has a tendency to slip with these.

Mitre Shears stanley blade or not
As a ceramic tiler over the years I have purchased both types of mitre shears for trimming out and decided that the shears with a fixed blade give better cut on the angle than the type where you can replace the blade .The blade stays sharp and strong for about a year but can be sharpened plus you always seem to be changing the blades on the other type which drives you mad all in all I would always go with the fixed type shear blade which gives much better trimming out results when working with tiles
