The best for your wood.

A good second best.
Bought 2x4litres of light brown Creocote to replace my own stock of the same product.Very easy to apply. I don't think creosote substitutes preserve timber as good as the real thing, which is no longer available. Even so definitely more pleasant to use.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Oil based stain
Because its an oil based product it allows water to run off the shed and prevents water seeping in, although in this damp weather the water just hangs about anyway. The only thing on rough sawn timber it tends to take longer for the odour to subside which can be quite strong, however this normally goes away after a couple of weeks. Protects timber well but not very 'light brown'
Went on nicely, protects timber well and just the right amount for our five 5ft high fence/ gate panels. Only problem was the 'light brown' we ordered was much darker than expected. Still looks nice, but would've preferred a lighter brown.
