Very heavy and extremely bright, strong but rather ugly.
This is quite a heavy, large light and very bright. To get my face within 12-14" of it when I use it as a therapy lamp, it needs to be very close to me, but when I put it on the lower setting to use as a regular lamp, it is so bright I need to move it back and aim it away. So I need to move the heavy thing twice each day. The switch is difficult to access and hard to move. Because I use f.lux on my computer to prevent exposure to blue light in the evening, I actually need to turn off the lamp to use my computer in the evening, because it is way too bright. It is very strong-looking and has a thick electric cord, which I assume means it will last, but makes it industrial-looking and rather unattractive.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Welcome to the 90's
Very bad 90's design! Especially the base and arm that the light box attaches to. Plastic and cheap. Curves and t akes up loads of space on my work top. Arrived used and base was missing parts, so I switched to regular monitor base which was an improvement! The lightbox itself works fine, super bright! Maybe my mood has improved, hard to tell.
