A neccessary item.
With most newish caravans you have to change your water filter regularly so obviously as said in the title this product is a necessity. They say it lasts up to one month so if you are going to use your caravan for more than 30 days a year you need to replace the filter regularly. The price of these water filters seems to rise every time I need one and by just looking at it and comparing it with the filters I also use for my water jug in the caravan the price difference is vast. Truma has a monopoly on many necessary caravan components where all prices seem to be excessive but as they know this I think they can charge what they like and know we must buy them. As for the quality of the product I am not convinced as I always also filter the water though my jug as even with this Truma filter particles come out in the water from the taps and this is even after we steralise the water tank and the pipes every year.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good filter, but rather expensive.
I always replace the water filter after cleaning the system at the start of the caravanning season. Truma would have you believe you have to change this filter several times during the year, but at their price, they must be joking!
