A good price, with slight drawback.
A good price, and a very quick courier delivery. I bought to add to a couple of others I purchased last year after moving to a new property. The others were of a different brand but very similar to style. However, this one youhave to cut out the circular holes for the inlet pipe, which I did with a small drill bit working the pattern of the sized hole necessary, and tyhen pushing out with my fingers. The earlier ones I had bought had gthe holes already cut, and were completed with a rubber gromit type closure, so it meant you just had to puish out the gromit to whichever side you wanted the water inlet pipe to fit. A lot, lot easier and quicker than having to mess around drilling out hole. Having said that the butt does what it is intended to do, and if we get a real hot, dry summer as last year will give me the additional water storage I am looking for. As stated at the beginning a good price for this product, but manufacturers could have made it easier.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Butt is good...Base too big .
The base is WAY TOO BIG which is a shame as I purchased it because I needed to put it in a very tight space! I wish that the tap protruded more.....I have to hold the watering can in place until it's filled.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

a very good product and is relitavly easy to put together with care
this is the second purchase of one of these water butts. it comes with all parts and instructions. a spirit level was used to mark a piece of masking tape stuck to the down pipe and the instructions followed . i used 1/2 a sheet of a4 paper wrapped around the pipe to get a tight fit with the overlapping ends level for each cut . then held in place with more tape. cut carefully to get a clean edge. ... once this has been done just put the adapter in place and refix the downpipe. . the tap just screws in and be careful not to over tighten.and fit the flexable feed pipe when assembled i past filled it so any strong wind would not move the butt. remember the saying "check your measurements twice and cut once". take your time .read the instructions until you understand h a n dVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

this size water butt is tall and slim and no way obtrusive.
this product was easy to assemble however the instructions for attatching it to the drainpipe left a lot to be desired. i cut the drainpipe at the level required not knowing i then had to. fix the lower of the pipe back on. i went on to you tube for a demonstration and found out about the lower pipe. after that the job was a good one. i point this out about the instructions because like myself if you have not seen this done before you do not know what yo do.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

I've got a nice butt.
Really good quality at a good price. Easy to install with simple instructions to follow. You will need a 22mm spade drill to allow water intake pipe to fit. Feels very unstable when installed but when it has water in , it is perfectly fine. Great where a standard water butt is just too large in diameter and by combining multiple water butts works out to be a fraction of the price compared to some of the other higher volume slimline units. It was a good price, and it fulfils my requirements - to save water over winter ready for next summer.
on the good side it does as it states it holds 100litres of water and it came with tap/ connector for a downpipe / stand and lid. I know the base is in four parts to assist in transportation: but the way they connect together at the base is flimsy any very hard to move without it falling apart. Very happy with this water butt, easy to erect and install.
Great slimline butt for your garden. I am extremely pleased with my purchase. Others mentioned how 'wobbly' the base is, so before I installed it I cut a round of Vinyl flooring to fit the bottom and screwed it into place. This helps to keep the four pieces of the base together and it is very stable now. Simple remedy....you could use a circle of thin wood, or plastic which would do the same job. Water Butt!
Quality seems to be fine. Doesn't let in light. My only problem is that you have to drill a hole for connection flexible tube, which I'm sure is no problem for the gents but is exasperating for a slightly elderly lady with no drill.
