2nd set of these pedals; one pair on mt bike and one on gravel bike.
Nice Shimano XTR high end pedals. the O-Ring on these pedals will come out of the body and allow dirt, etc. to enter the bearings. Shimano will not warrant these pedals. I would recommend not to buy these. There are way too many good pedals on the market; all other XTR pedals would be a better selection than these. I have 4 of these, one on a Trek Endurance gravel/road bike: dura ace di-2 with ceramic bearings and an S-Works 29er with Sram Eagle XX! AXS shifting. Both great bikes. Very dissapointed in Shimano. Better than Crank Bros Candy!
I've used Crank Brothers Candy pedals for a number of years and, while I liked them, they weren't always easy to clip in to. This was frustrating, especially when working on learning how to get better doing skills drills. My coach suggested I try the XTR pedals and what a difference!
