Superb Receiver
I bought this to replace a very well rated $2500-ish, 17 year-old american B&K receiver. I was worried that despite this Denon having the up-to-date sound formats that my old one lacked, the sound quality might be a step down. I needn't have worried, this Denon is an amazing unit, packed full of features and giving fantastic sound as well as passing through fantastic picture quality to our Panasonic OLED 65" TV. Denon X4500H upgrade from Denon 3806
Upgraded from a Denon 3806 which has served me well for 14 years. X4500h is relatively easy to setup and Dolby/DTS surround sound performance is fantastic after Audyssey auto setup. 4K switching, Earc all works well and linked via Airplay 2 to iPhone and homepod. Only thing remaining is to get 4 ceiling speakers for 5.1.4 Atmos setup. Great value for an excellent AV receiver. Recommend this without hesitation.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Amazing for the money!
I’ve had a few AVR units previously, the predecessors of this being the 2400h. Though it’s a great unit and it worked well for me, i felt it was time for an upgrade. Wow what a bit of kit, the 4500h seems a lot of an upgrade compared. 3 separate zones all able to play different audio.
