Good product
I gave this product a 4 star due to the strap that holds to wheels to the kayak , which is not fit for purpose . The strap is too weak to hold the wheels firmly . However I give the dolly a 5 star it is great and I love it , I exchanged the strap for a wratchet strap which was only £3.50 and now the trolly stays firmly to the kayak and I can walk a quarter of a mile with it with ease. So the trolly is still worth buying and is worth the money even though I bought a better strap . I am very happy with it , and it is easy to take a part for convieniance and store in the back of the kayak . Too narrow for my needs
The trolley is sturdy and well made. However it doesn't fit my sit-on-top kayak (rtm mambo) very well so it ends up sitting very high and can sometimes tilt as a result. The main issue however is that it's too narrow. If I pull the boat over some rough stony ground (as I have to to get to my usual spot) it almost inevitably ends up toppling over, spilling the contents all over the beach. It makes an relatively easy task quite frustrating, not to mention embarrassing in front of an audience. It would suit other kayaks better I'm sure and if you're pulling it over solid ground it's fabulous. Just doesn't quite do what I needed.

Trolley review
This is a robust well made trolley. Steel frame is solid and should not rust. Wheels are inflatable and help cushion the ride when pulling heavy kayaks.Have used for a long pull of half a mile and no problems - stays fixed to the kayak. Only problem and reason I did not give it 5 stars is that only one strap is provided and 2 are definitely needed to securely fix to a kayak. Overall is excellent value for this price. Folds down rapidly and easily . Makes hauling heavy kayaks and gear a doddle even over rough ground and soft sand.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Well made but doesn't fit our kayak well.
Nicely made set of wheels. We have the very common ocean kayak 2 seater and using the provided straps, the trolley collapses. I needed to use straps to pull one end securely towards the front and one end to the rear. It then works perfectly well. Good portage trolley
This works really well both on level ground and on portages over rough land. We use it with a Pelican Explorer Canadian canoe which is quite broad and it is stable when pulled along. It feels like having a big but steady dog on a lead. The user will need to try out different ways of securing the boat to the trolley to achieve the best fix; we didn't get it first time and the boat slipped on the trolley, but we found a way to strap it eventually. excellent bit of kit for saving backs
Very good value for money, works well for inflatable kayak, saves struggling carrying, easy on sand. Buy a couple of ratchet straps and loop through frame and over. Recommended for all kayak lovers.

Not suitable for heave kayaks
The tyres are very good but we have a heavy kayak and the strap is not good quality and keeps loosening and the wheels start twisting to an angle. I have tried several ways of putting the strap through the drain holes etc but nothing seems to keep the wheels in a straight line. Brilliant
I was anxious about ordering this not knowing if it would be any good but I am really pleased. I have a larger kayak and it fits in perfectly. It would suit any kayak I think.
