Hot knife through butter.
I'll keep it simple, it cuts through bike cable with simplicity, inner, & outer and it seems well made & strong, the reason for 4 stars is the little latch that keeps it closed doesn't stay in place & doesn't hold the cutter in closed position. Very good value for money, for occasional mechanics
Very good value for money - have used it to cut a fair number of cables, and to crimp cable ends, since I got it (apart from doing maintenance on both my bikes, I am reconditioning donated bicycles for NHS workers), and it cuts both inner and outer cable cleanly every time and crimps the cable ends firmly, once you work out how to do it.
