Stop shopping, just buy it. No ragrets.
Look, there's probably a few dozen different cable/wifi/router units to choose from out in the wild...but, like many things, you get what you pay for. My main goal was to find something without the dreaded PUMA6 intel chipset. Any modem/router with this hardware WILL fail. Locks Up after time
The modem has to be reset weekly by calling xfinity to do a system refresh. It seem that it locks up after a certain usage. I have a Gbps plan with my cable provider and the direct connect to the modem is 180Mps and wireless as high as 250Mbs with my macbook pro. On a positive note, The Wifi coverage is good through out my home appx 2800 sq/ft. I'm switching back to an newer Arris wifi modem. Better than old router
