Testing my new Bauker 2KW chain saw.
The 2KW Bauker 16" bar mains electric chain saw was delivered FOC very quickly by carrier to my home within 5 days and in quite good packaging complete with a small plastic bottle of chain oil which I put into the tank. The machine looks really good aesthetically and has good safety features in case of kick-back. It is not short on power as I proved by immediately cutting a recently felled Lime tree stump 13 inches in diameter. The horizontal cut off the stump top made me a circular disc stepping slab some 2 inches thick, and it went through effortlessly within about 10 seconds. The machine did not get hot which is most important as it is easy to overload an electric saw which eventually burns out the motor windings, and so long as the chain is kept sharp & lubricated I think the machine will be reliable. All in all a good purchase so far for me and at an amazingly excellent low price of under £30 total.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

I've purchase this product & had a one stroke cut on a tree lug, the chain just lost it sharpness. I've emailed and made complaint few times to change the chain blade. I did not get any response. Therefore I couldn't finish off my work. Well built, heavy chainsaw.
This Chainsaw is a fantastic tool, heavy robust design. Plastics are strong and fit well. Kick back guard/switch is sensitive causing an immediate stop. This gives you confidence, always use it when the saw isn't being used, this should be habit and checked every time you pick it up. Pulling the plug isn't always possible. Power button is definitely not left handed, saftey switch can be difficult to use. However once let go the chain stops within 10cm. Cable has a loose fit abrasion sleeve to reduce breaking the wire... It is very short, so correct wrap around your neck to under arm may cause lifting the extension socket, this is a lack of understanding of cable safety. Motor is very powerful, 2000w of isn't power, start before touching surface... Apply no weight to blade, but lock to stop kick back, while pushing the body teeth in and Pivot the bar down. Feel for weight pinching, chain flex, watching for the end of the cut, Teeth help to stop saw dropping but should not be trusted. Be ready to take full weight, keep the area clear of anything you don't want cut if you fail! Good practice. This tool causes respectable fear, always plan your cut understanding the do's & don'ts, weakness of a chainsaw and things that can happen. Plan your cuts, Do not just go in with hope, it will bite, jump, lock, flex till chain jumps. Fear is the correct state of mind here. Buy chain oil, clean and Lube and address any issues. If you cannot then detach the bar, to remind you its not safe to use. DIY tools have long gaps between use, disabled an unsafe tool before putting away. Great tool, demands respect every time the motor growls. The price is just awesome for what you get.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Initial problem but fast resolution

Great saw, at a very low price
Brought this saw for a landscaping project, and it cut through oak sleepers with ease. Also have used the saw to take off some large overhanging branches from a tree , and it made very light work of it. Great chainsaw but it's a tad on the heavy side
Does exactly what I needed it to do to cut down the conifers in my back garden but keep in mind that some of these branches are like small trees and pretty thick. No issues with the chainsaw cutting anything that I needed it to do. The only issue I had was when at the top of a ladder cutting down the branches the chainsaw felt heavy after a while but I was about 12 feet up a ladder.
