Totally Have Needed This for a Long time
So one day I was talking to my sister-in-law and she tells me about this compact ice maker she bought. We both like a lot of ice for drinks. I ordered the ice maker and began to think that this was going to be a bust. Portable countertop ice maker? NAHH! So it arrived and I am already trying to debunk this gadget and I turn it on and await the outcome. This small appliance has changed the way I have perceived it as a piece of equipment. It runs and makes very good quality ice, especially if you like ice in your cocktails. Or anything else, like Ice Tea or kool-aid for the kids. If you buy one of these ice machines you will never have to pay for ice unless you are filling up your cooler. I highly recommend this small kitchen appliance. We use a "zero water" pitcher to make filtered water for ice.

Lowest price -- cheapest design
Unit produces ice quickly -- the advertised 26lbs/day is probably easy to duplicate. The water tray has a cube scoop used to eject cubes to the basket. The design is poor allowing ice cubes to escape scooping and foul the next run. I've looked at several different units and I can see the tray/ice eject mechanism is smaller than it should be -- cheap. The cube basket is a plastic box with slots. The slots are wide enough to allow smaller cubes to fall through. Look for the metal ones with small openings. Other units have a temperature sensor in the water path that measures water flow, temperature, and basket full, I think. This unit produces inconsistent cube sizes depending on water temp apparently because is makes no adjustment for temp. This unit is one of the cheapest you will find and it gets the jobs done -- just not as weill as it could.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

So far im very pleased with this item!
Before buying I read a ton of reviews of prolly every ice maker available. Seems like no matter the brand, all have a lemon or two to come down thru the inventory. So far in like 3 weeks time or less im running mine 24/7 & im very pleased with its production and functionality. Looks good, works fast.
The product looks like and does all it says that is in the description, however if you don’t take the ice cubes out immediately they will melt and become very small.
