This is our second bat swatter, and this one is a little bigger and a lot easier style of putting in the batteries, it simply lifts out, without a tiny screw, and having to find the tiny screwdriver, Have used it regularly since its arrived with great success. It does the job.
Its an ok product. I probably had unrealistic expectations. It works on contact with the bug but keep in mind they are moving things. Its a case of a little air tennis with strong chances to land it on others or hard surfaces (and its not the sturdiest thing). The external part of the circular bracket is raised so even when you trap the bug, there is a level of artistry needing to subdue it. If the bug is zapped once it will 'die' for a few seconds but like the rise of the zombies it will resurect and go about its neferious bizzzzeness. If you zap it hard, its kinda gruesome, it smells kinda bad and you still have to go around picking them up and dispossing them. Tricky item but all in all it mostly does what it says it will.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good design but....
Broke the previous one but this model looks and feels stronger. One drawback with the rigid construction is that it does not flex (by design) hence you have to make sure that your desired catch is on a fairly large flat surface.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Unfortunately the metals to big protecting the electrical bit so doesn’t manage to kill big flies. I’ve manage to kill one so far. I need the mesh on the outside to be smaller. Really Bad quality. Had to throw away.
